6 Day Learn to Ride (BHS) Residential Week
Intense Riding & Care package following British Horse Society Stage 1.
Suitable for those who already have their basics and horse-confident novices 18+ years old. Suitable for gap year students and those wanting to use holidays for this passionate sport are welcome. Many will have ridden when young and wish to restart.
The course runs from Monday (12pm arrival & induction) to Saturday (departure by 4 pm), with 5 days riding - every day in private or group lessons in our arenas and daily supervised ground/ stable learning. You will have specific care of one horse and the Head Coach will be in charge of your progress.
You will stay in a just refurbished fully equipped 2 bedroomed 1920’s Groundsman’s Cottage in the centre of the Riding School. Accommodation is in a bedroom which can be booked as double or single occupancy and you will have shared use of all cottage facilities on a self-catering basis, with welcome pack available and shops/food delivery easily accessible.
The School is in the heart of West London with excellent public transport links, 5 mins walk from Ealing Common Tube, served by the District and Piccadilly lines, 10 mins into Central London, and a short walk from the busy Ealing Broadway with its shops and restaurants. Your schedule will allow you time to explore the city. In- house TEFL teaching can be organised upon request.

Working Holiday that can sharpen your riding skills and let you explore London
Suitable for 18+ years old who have previous experience of owning or looking after horses & ponies.
For 3 hours work per day, you can have a horse holiday in the centre of West London in a recently refurbished Stable Cottage in our Riding School.
The course runs from Monday (12pm arrival & induction) to Saturday (departure by 4 pm). Riding lessons are available to add throughout Tuesday-Saturday at 50% discount when booked in advance.
You will stay in a just refurbished fully equipped 2 bedroomed 1920’s Groundsman’s Cottage in the centre of the Riding School. Accommodation is in a bedroom which can be booked as double or single occupancy and you will have shared use of all cottage facilities on a self-catering basis, with welcome pack available and shops/food delivery easily accessible.
Your schedule will allow you afternoons and evenings to explore London, which is easily accessible from the School by tube.
