  • Basic First Aid For Horse with Anna 30th June & 17th July at 4pm
  • The Nature Of The Horse workshop with Anna Marie 21st July and 1st August at 4pm
  • Rider Body Awareness sessions led by AI coach Wiola Grabowska 15th and 29th August at 7pm-8.30pm. These are fantastic sessions for balance and core strength and being aware of weight shift/posture and how this affects the horse. We need a minimum of 5 riders to make these sessions possible.

AND MORE TO COME:

  • Mechanical horse sessions - There is a chance to visit an external centre (Cullingham Stud RG8 8QA) for mechanical horse sessions (30-40 minutes individual sessions; plus can watch and learn from each other too). Minimum 3/4 riders needed at £35 per person. Please register interest via email. Dates can be flexible if we can get a few people together. Fantastic opportunit to study the small details that have a big impact on rider progression.
  • First social event/BBQ to be held either 6th OR 13th July at 4pm.
  • Dressage Anywhere - This is an online platform to submit videos of yourselves riding a test judged by BD judges with scores and feedback given. It's also a competition whereby your scores are combined with all other external entries and placings and rosettes are awared on the final submission date. It's a great way to get 'outside' feedback on your riding and enter a competition without having to go to another venue to do so. Currently they have these classes open: Junior (under 16) - Intro B, Prelim 12, and Senior (over 16) - Intro B, Intro C, Prelim 12, Prelim 13. Entries can be made up to 27th June online by yourselves at www.dressageanywhere.com and they cost around £13 per entry. If you decide to pick a test you can use private lessons as an opportunity to run through them and if enough in a group we can use the group sessions to work towardsthe tests (non entries can still practice). Coaches are happy to film the test within the lessons also but if wanting multiple practices and filming maybe best to do this in your private sessions. Please speak to your coach as they are all aware of this competition.
  • One more outing to Rosehill is being planned before they shut down mid July. Details to follow.
