Pony Days
February: 16, 18, 23 & 25
10:00 – 16:00

Everyone welcome from the age of 14 to 4 regardless of riding ability or knowledge of horses.

You’ll have fun and make new friends whilst enjoying what our yard has to offer. You’ll ride for up to 2 hours and learn how to take care of the ponies as if they were your own!

All you have to bring is a packed lunch and we will take care of the rest.

Pony Gallivanter Days
February: 17, 19, 24 & 26
10:00 – 16:00

Everyone welcome from the age of 14 to 5.

You’ll get to meet the ponies and ride them in groups as well as learn how to take care of a pony as if it were your own. Plus you’ll take part in fun activities and games in our Gallivanters area.

All you have to bring is a packed lunch and we will take care of the rest.

Everyone welcome from the age of 12 to 4.

Gentle pony trekking and pony hand-walking through Gallivanters Field with a break for tea with the ponies.

Gallivanters Pony Rides
Tuesdays & Thursdays
11:00, 12:00 and 14:30

A 15 -20 minute pony ride through Gallivanters Meadow & Grove led by a stable groom.

A gentle pony experience suitable for 3+ year olds.

Gallivanters Day Camp

February: 19, 26
10:00 – 16:00

All welcome from 16 to 4 year old.

Price: £75 per child per day

The walled site allows children a great sense of freedom with discreet supervision.

  • Living in Teepee Village – planning and creating your own community settlement for the week.
  • Learning self–sustaining living – fire-making, foraging, cooking water-drawing, and calico cotton robe making and laundry.
  • Animal care of ponies, dogs, puppies, goats and chickens.  Dog agility training. Goat herding And riding if desired.
  • Vintage horse-box used as a seasonal shelter for all.
  • Bushcraft – wood whittling, fire-making, cooking on fire,  bramble picking & jam making, log walking, bridge-making, tug-of-war, compass orienteering and survival & first aid skills.
